Mountaineer Nation was garbed in white last night, a “White Out” in celebration of the football team’s 4-year seniors including QB Pat White. It’s kinda hard to believe that the season is over, but we still have the Meineke Car Care Bowl, which I will hopefully be going to, and there’s always next year. I am immensely glad that I am a part of the Mountaineer Marching Band.
In other news, I logged on to the Tribune-Review website today and found an article about a man from Indiana County who donated his multi-million dollar estate to his small-town United Methodist church. The funny thing? No one would have known this guy as anything other than a local farmer because of the way he chose to live his life, not allowing money to take over.
It’s a good read, and a nice way to give yourself some perspective on life as we enter the holiday season of charity and (unfortunately) greed.
