On Saturday, I visited Slippery Rock University 100% certain that I wanted to go to WVU, and thinking that SRU would have to do a hell of a lot to impress me. They did just that.
So my 100% certainty of WVU has deteriorated into about 50% certainty. I’m not really sure whether I want to go to Slippery Rock or West Virginia.
Both have their pros and cons. Slippery Rock seems to have a better program for Park & Resource Management, but WVU seems to be just a better school in general.
WVU is offering me $4,000 for my freshmen year and $3,000/year after that… But Slippery Rock is way cheaper to begin with.
But at the same time, I kinda feel like I’m selling myself out by going to a small state university when I’ve been accepted by something presumably bigger and better.
So I’ve got a bit of research ahead of me before making a decision.
Glad you enjoyed your visit to SRU. The Park & Resource Management Program at SRU is in fact an amazing program which serves undergraduate students very well and prepares them for their careers and more….. We think you’ll be very proud of your diploma from SRU should you enroll here.
Whoa…
